The Lily sets it in a diamond halo on a cathedral base, with a 1.7mm pavé band running beneath. The halo follows the pear's outline exactly.  That contouring is what separates a well-designed pear halo from a standard one. At 1.56ct, this stone already faces up like 1.80ct. The halo and pavé band make sure everything around it is working just as hard.
