    Description

    The Belle is built around a decision most diamond bands don't make: space. Instead of running diamonds continuously along the shank, the space keeping the band delicate while the marquise center stone carries the presence. It's a dainty ring wearing a statement diamond, and the two work together because neither one is fighting for attention.

    The marquise cut distributes its carat weight differently than any other shape. Individual diamonds with space between them keep the shank looking fine and open. The marquise reads as the main event rather than one element in a ring that's trying to do too much. 

    Spaced, Not Packed - Most diamond bands run stones continuously from one end to the other. The Belle spaces them. Individual diamonds with gold between each one. The band stays delicate. The center stone stays the story. It's a balance most rings in this category get wrong.

    Dainty Ring, Statement Diamond - The marquise reads larger than its carat weight because the elongated body spreads across more finger than a round of the same size. The spaced band give the setting intentional contrast. Big stone, fine band. 

    Wears Lighter Than It Looks - The open spacing along the band means less metal and more air. It looks delicate and it feels delicate.

    Stunning Ring, Great Service!

    My now fiance and I were exploring ring options. It was pur first or second day, and we ran across North and South Jewelry.     Amazing customer service and jewelry!

    I have been following their Instagram page for a while now. I knew I eventually wanted to purchase an aquamarine and diamond ring as they're my daughters' birthstones. Their prices were the most reasonable I've encountered both with local and online stores. I eventually purchased an emerald cut aquamarine ring with a diamond halo from them via Instagram. It's scary to make such a large purchase online without seeing the item in person, but Elaine was very responsive via Instagram and email. I told her what I was looking for and she sent photos of their stock. She sent photos in the store lighting as well as outside, which was helpful. It was a super easy process and it only took about two weeks from initial contact to shipping. The only concern I had was the transit from CA to HI took longer than expected, but this was not their fault. The item finally arrived and was exactly as described/pictured! I will definitely buy more jewelry from their store in the future!
